The prefabricated timber construction, from sustainable sources, sandwiches a heavily insulated core all set on a grid of steel screwed piles, a low impact foundation system that has a ‘soft touch’ approach to foundation design and construction.

The kitchen work surfaces are made of entirely recycled glass which is incredibly stylish, “so great I’ve gone into partnership with them”, says the owner, who proudly points to many surfaces which are beautiful yet created from sustainable materials, including bamboo flooring, and an entirely wooden panelled bathroom.
