Shipping Container Stackhouse
Keith Dewey: A combination of prefabricated containers and traditional wood frame building systems. Six 8’x20’ shipping containers stacked together to create the bulk of the house and one 8’x20’ container on stilts providing space for the home office.
The containers are painted in an industrial enamel high gloss paint that is typical of shipping containers in service today. The shipping containers decals were not painted over so the true identity would be there for everyone to see.
